FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
We have added a new feature to greeting-cards.com where you can submit your own images. You can upload images from your desktop, webcam or a URL. You can then choose from a number of fun features including warping and accessorizing your image. Once complete you will be asked to choose from one of four options; save to my gallery, email to a friend, save to my desktop and send as an ecard. Sending your image as an ecard is simple and easy, all you need to do is select your recipient (s) and enter your personalized message. To begin just click on the 'make your own photo e-card' image.
There is no limit to the number of cards you can send from greeting-cards.com, send as many or as few as you like.
We will use your email address to send you occasional newsletters - you can however opt out of this by deselecting the tick box when sending an ecard. You can also sign up for our free reminder service.
Once you have pressed 'send now' you will be redirected to the homepage where a confirmation message will be displayed. Here, you can also view your unique reference number. A copy of your ecard and message will also be sent to your personal email address. Once the ecard has been viewed by the recipient you will receive another email from us confirming this.
If once you have sent an ecard you realise you have inputted the incorrect email address you will have the option to 'send this card to someone else' where your ecard and message will remain the same but you can correct the email address.
Unfortunately no, we currently do not offer this feature.
Your message should not be shortened on any occasion, you can write as much or as little as you'd like.
All ecards that we send from greeting-cards.com are stored on our servers. To ensure all communications are safe and secure each ecard will be assigned a unique 32 character reference number. Please ensure that you have copied the correct reference number from your email into the 'pick up my ecard' box. We suggest you copy and paste the reference number from your email to avoid mistakes being made. If digits and characters are entered incorrectly it will not be accepted.
All you need to do is select your favourite ecard, add your personal message and sending details, and we'll deliver it for you. You can schedule greeting-cards.com ecards to be sent immediately or at any time in the future. In addition, you can also send one ecard to as many as 100 receivers at a time.
1. Choose an ecard
  • Start at greeting-cards.com
  • Browse through our different ecard categories and click on a subcategory to view ecards.
  • >Using the carousel you can scroll from left to right to view the ecards in that specific category and can view by clicking on a thumbnail
  • The card page shows you the full version of the ecard.
  • 2. Personalize the ecard
  • Fill out the details in 'personalize this card'. Your email address and the email address of the recipient are required fields.
  • Next, select the date you wish the card to be sent on.
  • Tick or un-tick to set a reminder service to remind you of the event next time it is due and/or to sign up to our occasional newsletters.
  • Next, type out your personal message- this can be as long or as short as you wish.
  • You can then opt to see a preview of the ecard, to make sure everything is as you like it.
  • 3. Send the ecard
  • Click on the "Send now" button to send your ecard.
  • When sending an ecard through greeting-cards.com, all of your ecard details are stored on our servers. If the card has not arrived with the recipient within a couple of hours, there is most likely an error with the recipients email address. Ensure that the recipient's e-mail address is accurate and re-send if necessary. Occasionally the delivery can also be delayed due to delays in the receiver's mail server. Some e-mail systems such as AOL and Hotmail do not receive email immediately. In these cases, the time taken for the recipient to receive the ecard can vary from a few minutes to several hours.
